DIGINEXT Project Final Results to Support Digital Inclusion in Rural Areas
The DIGINEXT project- Sustainable Digital Engagement for Seniors and New Professional Profiles in Resilient Rural Areas, is proud to announce that its full set of results is now publicly available.
After two years of collaborative work involving six partner organisations from Spain, Italy, Greece, Austria, and Romania, the project is coming to an end with successfully developed and tested tools to strengthen digital competences among older adults and low-skilled individuals in rural regions.
Project results now available include:
- The e-Rural Inclusion Specialist professional profile, which defines a new role focused on supporting digital participation in rural communities highlighting the key competencies for emerging roles supporting digital engagement in rural communities.
- An innovative, multi-module training course, designed to improve digital literacy, access to online services, e-health awareness, and digital sustainability.
- A “train-the-trainer” approach, allowing adult education professionals and Local Action Groups (LAGs) to replicate and adapt the training.
- Pilot feedback and evaluation findings, demonstrating the course’s usability, relevance, and impact.
All results are accessible online here: https://diginextproject.eu/#results
We invite educators, policy-makers, rural development actors and adult learning professionals to explore the outputs, adopt the materials, and join us in building more digitally inclusive and resilient rural areas across Europe.
