ABOUT THE PROJECT

DIGINEXT project focus its attention on European Local Action Groups (LAGs) establishing them as the conjunction of ring transferring innovative digital skills from Adult Education sector to low-skilled adults and seniors in rural areas, targeting three main outcomes:

Spain

The implementation of DIGINEXT Local Pilots focused on putting into practice the methodologies, tools and training materials developed throughout the project within real local contexts.

Romania

Two types of piloting activities are carried out, aiming to validate the DigiNext training scheme. The first pilot aimed at training local mentors, who were trained in digital skills by specialists in e-rural inclusion.

Italy

The pilot activities with seniors, organised together with Auser and supported by the Madonie LAG, involved 16 participants in an inclusive and participatory learning experience. The activity was carried out in a hybrid format, achieving great success and high participant satisfaction

Greece

ocal pilots focused on strengthening the digital skills of the participants. Low-skilled adults and seniors experienced a significant surge in digital confidence and independence.

Austria

The Austrian DIGINEXT piloting was mainly implemented in the LEADER/LAG Waldviertler Kernland (Lower Austria) and connected to existing regional support structures, including community-based initiatives such as DAVNE-Nachbarschaftshilfe.

The DIGINEXT toolbox is a collection of the tools developed during the project, which you can also access via this website.

It includes a set of policy recommendations based on the partnership’s experience during the project’s implementation.
